Friends of Great Art,

Thank you for visiting the official Ivan Garikow online art gallery. Here you will find more than 150 of Ivan Garikow's paintings to view. Ivan's life had high highs and low lows. Since his art is an extension of himself, to understand his art more fully you must journey with him through his life.

Five sections make up this site:

  • The Eurisko Art information includes this letter of introduction.
  • Ivan's abridged Biography. Placed at the bottom of each chapter are three of Garikow's paintings that visually complement the theme within the text of the page.
  • Garikow's Online Art Gallery allows you to view his paintings which are organized into several easy to understand categories. Almost 200 of Garikow's paintings are included.
  • The Lost Collection is short story of how Ivan's collection of paintings which had been missing for more than 20 years was discovered.
  • The Guestbook and the Contact Page provides you with an opportunity to communicate with me. I am curious what drew you to our site. Was it casual browsing? Do you own a Garikow original? Are you researching Russian art? Were you referred to this site? I'd really like to know. Please tell me.

On a personal note, I am anxious to learn as much information as I can about Ivan's life in Russia, Austria and/or Philadelphia, PA. If you have any information about Garikow or know the whereabouts of other Garikow originals, please let me know.

I would like to catalogue and have photographs of all Garikow originals so I can included them in the Garikow Gallery. This will authenticate the piece and add to its value for the owner.

Caution: We know some of Garikow's originals were copied. If you have a Garikow and want to have it authenticated just take a few hi-resolution images (digital pictures) of the work and a close up of the signature and forward them to me directly.

I encourage you to send your thoughts, questions, and/or comments to me using the Contact Page available on the menu bar at the top of the website. And finally, we encourage everyone who visits our website to sign our Guestbook.

Thank you for your interest in the Garikow Collection.
